With the historic Istanbul Golf Club going through a major transformation there are still two options for playing golf in this famous city.
Klassis Golf & Country Club, situated in the outskirts of Istanbul was designed by Tony Jacklin.
While not considered a long golf course by today’s standards its setting and use of the natural terrain make it an enjoyable but challenging prospect and in many ways similar to the parkland golf courses in Scotland, although distance from greens to tees make buggies almost a necessity.
The Country Club Hotel also offers fine dining and the rooms provide a beautiful vista overlooking the golf course and surrounding countryside.
