Set in the historical grounds of a 12th-century monastery Minthis is the oldest golf course in Cyprus. Minthis, as well as being a resort course is also a Members Club with a number of open tournaments being played through the whole year including the summer where at an elevation of 550 meters there is a cooling breeze off the Troodos Mountains.
The course is carefully laid out in the natural landscape within the mature vegetation in the lower part of the valley giving it right away a distinct setting within Cyprus. It utilises the steep hillside terrain for spectacular tee locations and long views towards valley and ocean.
